OP360 Launches Pride Business Resource Group, Mariposa

Award-winning global BPO company OP360 (OfficePartners360) marked a significant milestone on June 24, 2023, with the official launch of Mariposa, its first business resource group committed to fostering inclusivity and supporting the company’s LGBTQIA+ workforce.

CEBU CITY, (January 31, 2024) — Award-winning global BPO company OP360 (OfficePartners360) marked a significant milestone on June 24, 2023, with the official launch of Mariposa, its first business resource group committed to fostering inclusivity and supporting the company’s LGBTQIA+ workforce.

The launch happened during the OP360 Diversity Ball, where employees from across the Philippines came together for the first time to celebrate its diverse community. Mariposa’s adoption of two schools in Mandaue City, Paknaan Elementary School and Paknaan National High School, made the launch even more special.

Each school was presented with a giant cheque amounting to PHP 150,000 to support their priority projects. Additionally, all proceeds from the event amounting to Php 122,000 went to both schools.

Atty. Tess Tan, Senior Director of Legal and Compliance and Executive Sponsor of Mariposa at OP360 highlighted the significance of adopting two Mandaue City schools, stating, “OP360 believes in investing in education as a way of reaching outwards. So when it was time for Mariposa to identify a beneficiary school, we reached out to the first LGU in the country to pass an anti-discriminatory ordinance, and they pointed us to the schools with the highest student population.” 

In January 2024, Mariposa and other OP360 representatives visited both schools to distribute grocery bundles to 228 teaching and nonteaching staff as part of the annual OP360 Cares Bundle Distribution.
